This information covers the Baltic Photo information website, enquiries to Baltic Photo SIA and the choice made in the cookie panel. It does not replace information about photographing children, a particular photo session or sales through an external service.

When you email us
We process your email address and the information in your message, such as your name, the institution you represent, contact details and the enquiry itself. We use it to reply, discuss a photo session and continue the conversation. Children's names or photographs are not needed for an initial enquiry.
Legal basis for correspondence
Communication with institutions and their representatives is based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and arranging work together. Where steps are taken at an individual's request to enter into or perform a contract with that individual, those steps form the basis for processing the relevant data. Documents that we must keep by law are processed to meet that legal obligation.
Website operation and security
When you access the website, the hosting service receives your IP address and technical request information. Logs may record the time, requested address, browser information and errors to support operation and security. The basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining the website, preventing misuse and investigating technical incidents.
Your cookie panel choice
The website has no visitor analytics or advertising tracking. Only after you act in the information panel may a record named bp-cookie-preferences-v1 be saved in browser local storage with your choice and its expiry. This remembers your choice on the basis of our legitimate interest in respecting a setting you requested. The choice is valid for six months (183 days); you can delete it earlier in your browser. Recipients
Authorised people access correspondence where they need it to handle your enquiry. Hosting and email providers may process information to the extent needed to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed to competent authorities or professional advisers where needed to meet a legal obligation or protect legal rights. This website does not send the locally saved panel choice to other companies or websites.
Retention
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and arrange any related work. Transaction records or information about a claim are subject to the relevant legal obligations and the time needed to protect legal rights. Technical log retention depends on website operation, incident investigation and security needs, as well as hosting settings. The browser preference expiry is explained in the cookie policy.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. External services and individual photo sessions
The Foto Angels shop and other external websites have their own published information. Before using them, read the stated seller and platform operator details and the relevant terms. The purposes, basis and parties involved in processing data for a particular photo session are explained for that session. This website policy is not a general permission to photograph a child.
